System requirements

These Internet pages are optimized for use with Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher, Netscape 6.0 or higher, and Opera 5.0 or higher. To enable you to make full use of the functionality of the pages you should activate Java and JavaScript on your browser settings. The presentation of the pages will be at its best if your screen resolution is set at 800 x 600.

Structure

The central page in this Internet presence is the MANN+HUMMEL Group homepage. Starting from this page you can pull up the various sub-areas and the pages specific to the individual countries of the MANN+HUMMEL subsidiary companies, and switch from one to another. You will find the link back to our homepage in the navigation on every page, under “MANN+HUMMEL Group”.

Site map

The site map gives you an overview of the whole Internet presence. To help you with your orientation the site map shows you the page from which you pulled down the site map. You can use the links to move from the site map directly to any other area.

Symbols

The colors of the squares next to the menu points represent a categorization of the contents and provide additional help with orientation. A link to another part of the web site or to external pages is identified by a double arrow.

Links to supplementary information are identified by underlining. The type and size of file is shown on every link to a document.

Contact

On every page you will find an “envelope”symbol at the top left-hand corner of the symbol bar. This leads to a contact mask. Your query will be sent automatically to the appropriate department for the part of the web site you are visiting at that moment.

You will also find the contact information for all MANN+HUMMEL locations on the page entitled “The Company”, under the heading of “Locations”.

PDF files

To be able to view the pdf documents in our web site you need the Acrobat Reader from Adobe. (The type and size of file is shown on every document). If Acrobat Reader is not installed on your computer you can download it from the Adobe Homepage. Acrobat Reader is provided by Adobe free of charge.

Video and audio

To be able to play the video files on your computer you need the Windows Media Player. This is provided free of charge on the Microsoft homepage.

Printing

To print pages out, simply use your browser’s printing function. You will find this in the “File”menu under the command “Print”. The entire contents of the page will be printed automatically.
